Hi peeps, i recently purchased a new Intel I7 920 to replace an AMD 3700+. I could get any old game to run on my 3700+ using the application compatibility toolkit for windows XP. I now have a multi-boot system including windowa xp pro and vista, but no matter how much I try, I cannot get some older games to work, like The original need for speed, Need for speed 2 se, need for speed 3 and 4, carmageddon, descent 2, etc. The games won't post any errors when trying to load or anything, i just click on their executable files and nothing happens. I tried using the Application compatibility toolkit but nothing happens.

I tried reducing the number of cores, but to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions for me? Because i miss these old games already. Thanks

you only real option is to either use DOSBOX (for the games that are supported) or make a retro-pc to run them as they where intented to run...
