Greetings! I'm looking for some info here from owners of a Roland CM-500. I just picked one up but it doesn't have the power adapter with it 🙁

I did some research and was pointed to the following adapter from Roland:
http://shop.rolandus.com/product/part_number= … 0.24376.0.0.0.0
I was told by the owner that I need 9V DC 1000mA Roland ACB,ACK. Looking for some verification by someone with the hardware in hand 😀

Thanks in advance!

The information is correct. Since it's stated that the PSB-1U you linked to replaces the ACB/ACK, it ought to work just fine.

Cheaper alternatives can be found at Radio Shack, or elsewhere - just make sure to get the polarity right (negative tip, positive sleeve).

Also, if you have an old Sega Genesis laying around, the AC adapters that came with them are the same spec and physical plug dimensions as Roland's.

I came across that one by luck and know that it works. 😮
