How to fix this problem? ATI radeon 2600HD + Samsung monitor DVI output 1680x1050 60hz (sometimes it report 75 hz its not supported by monitor and goes to no signal/black screen)
When i launch dos program in window all ok, but when i switch to fullscreen monitor fade to sleep/ black screen/ or no signal. I can't d anything until i press reset to start windows again. How to fix this problem?
-------------------------------
Its possible to force 60 hz to everything, every program games. so video card tricked they think only 60 hz supported. and it will be good to force vsync always on for everything.
Without using ATI Control panel (my card ) or lets say nVidia panels, as this doesnot help me ((.
So fix for forever.

before you install new drivers hack the inf file

or maybe hack the monitor inf file (you would need to uninstall current monitor drivers set the monitor to standard plug and play then reinstall the monitor drivers with the hacked inf)

ps: i take it your using a crt ?

hack the driver's ini file and only leave the 60hz references... then install driver and you should be fine
