I've been trying to get some of my games to use the CMS emulation I made sure to choose cms/game blaster in the game's setup. And I set the OPL mode in DosBox to cms. I can get a couple games, like SQ3 to play with cms emulation. But other games, like Thexder 2 just freeze right away when I try to use it. Can anyone tell me what else I need to do to get all the games that supported it to work?
Haven't tried Thexder 2. But Monkey Island, Prince of Persia, Space Quest 3, Police Quest 3 and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade are games I tried.
I wouldn't change OPLMODE though. Leave this on AUTO.
Change SBTYPE instead to GB.

Thank you very much 😀 That seems to have been the problem. After setting it to the configuration you gave me, Thexder 2 works fine now. The only game that still gives me some issues is Silpheed. It will play the music during the intro, but there is no music during the actual game play. You can only hear the sound effects of firing at the enemies
Unfortunately I don' know / have that game.
Maybe this game simply has no music when using Game Blaster?
Silpheed does, if you have version 2.3 or above.
