I was given one of these;

But no instructions or software and I can't figure out how to get it to work natively. I think it also might be sold under Logitech's brand as well.

After downloading and installing the drivers for it, the properties screen confirms that all the controls (with the exception of one button) are registering correctly. However, I can't get them to register in any games.

It did work with Joy2Key, but it would be nice to be able to not have to run a separate program to use it.

Does anyone know how to set this beast up, or have a link to a downloadable copy of the manual?

Weird, I have identical-looking pad which is thrustmaster and branded to prince of persia (came with PoP special edition). I've never had any problems with it, no drivers to install - just plug in USB and it works..

Try this driver package. It might work, especially since Guillemot bought out Thrustmaster back in 1998 or so, and at this point they're just two names for the same entity.

As to why your games aren't recognizing it, I need more information. Do the games even use DirectInput in the first place? If they're XInput-based (designed around Xbox 360 gamepads), you need an XInput emulator like X360CE or whatever's displaced it these days. There's also the possibility that it's not set as the first DirectInput ID, and thus older games won't see it.
