I have one roland SCD-15 daughter board mounted on a sound blaster AWE32.
It work ok, but the music volume (roland SCD-15) is very low and sound effect (AWE32) is high.
how i can set the SCD-15 volume?

I dont remember how the utility is called, havent been using my DOS rig in a while now (no time) - but its definitely in AWE (or SB16) directory. I had the same problem with my yamaha daughter board and that utility is the thing you are looking for. Its for DOS only.

Same problem here.

After fiddling around with a Sound Blaster 16 CT2230 + SCB-55, i could get higher volume and only a few sound artifacts (I seldom hear noise from circuitry and interference while loading games).

But it was still too muffled.
I added more treble and bass down using SB16SET.EXE (MIXERSET.EXE ON SB AWE32).
Then and only then i could hear the percussion brighter and "terrific and disturbing" volume.

To tell you the truth, i found little hard to concentrate on games (MIDI IS CRANKED UP) 😵 😳 .

Finally, i came to the conclusion that using the SB 16 CT2230 Line In connected to a Roland RAP-10 OUT was a better and very clear solution in terms of noise and hiss. I guess i only lose support for GS games.
