Hello,
i try to use an old DOS-Program with Win7 64Bit.
Because it won't work without an emulator i am trieing to use DOSBOX.

With the original release, i get the Message "Access denied" when i start the Program. After i installed MB6 i also could not start my Program. I found one dosbox-binary ( http://www.waldbauer.com/vb/showthread.php?t=2219 )that worked, but at one time i got an error Message.
Using the Program with WinXP all funktions works great.
I think the crash has something to do with file i/o.

Does some one has an idea what i can do to debug?
Dosbox-debug is not working because of "access denied"

You will generally not find support on this forum for running a non-game application in DOSBox, and you certainly won't find support for someone else's custom build. The only thing I can suggest is to try using DOSBox with a hard disk image instead of with "mount" commands; there are some instructions in the "DOSBox Guides" subforum.

You should just ask your question in the forum where you found that patch.
