Why not DOS (MS or Free, your call) and Windows 95 OSR2 ? Should work like a charm. I assume you have about 32 MB RAM? If you have less then 32MB, use DOS/Win3.11 only.

It all depends on exactly what you want to do. If you have something that for some very strange reason requires MS-DOS, then you should use MS-DOS (and/or ask the FreeDOS developers about it).

If you have another computer for running Windows games and have no need to run Windows games on this computer, then you probably shouldn't bother installing Windows (although it can be quite handy for transferring and downloading files if you have no convenient alternative available).

I'd go for MS-DOS or DR-DOS.

You already have another computer for Windows 98.

Unless you don't have space for both computers, in taht case, I'd go for DOS\Win 95.

Win98 on 100Mhz is prolly going to be rather slow.
