Hi guys, got a little issue maybe you can help me please 😀

Using Dosbox SVN Daum PC version on my MAC using Wine. It works perfectly.

I want MT32 emulation as I cannot use my real MT32 on my MAC (No midi ports). So i downloaded the OSX version of Munt and using MT32 roms.

I configured Dosbox to use the MIDI port for Munt and it interfaces as in Munt shows activity etc but the sounds are terrible, wrong instruments etc... Tried different and known working roms

Win 7 : Core2Quad 2.4Ghz, 4Gb Ram, Audigy 4 Pro
Win 98: Pentium III 600Mhz, 448MB Ram, Matrox Millenium DualHead 32MB, Sound Blaster 32, Roland MT-32
Win 98: Compaq Armada 7400 P2 333Mhz, 192MB Ram, ESS AudiDrive 1879 with Wavetable

Munt is built into Dosbox SVN Daum 😉 Just put the MT-32 roms in your Dosbox folder and change the midi device to MT-32 in the dosbox config.

Why don't you use the OS X port of Dosbox? Works nicely with Munt (I advise the SVN version).
Also you can use a real MT32 with a Midi-USB adapter. Works fine for me.
