CMakeList.txt is for Visual Studio. The makefile for GCC will have "makefile" in the name.

Maybe in this case, but CMakeList.txt is specifically for CMake which can work with GCC, Visual Studio, LLVM, etc.

Hello everyone, I'm the author of IBMulator.
The program is not Linux only and has absolutely no problem running under Windows, it's just that I have very little time to test it and I'm a Linux user so...
I generally test and fix Windows related problems just before release and the last one happened a long time ago...
Anyway for those interested I've completely rewritten the Windows build instructions and tested the whole process under Windows 8.1 64bit.
If you are interested in the 2121 emulation keep in mind that it's not complete, and the 386 CPU emulation still has some bug that prevents Windows 3 to boot.
A 32bit version is possible I think, but I've never tried to compile it. If anyone would like to compile, test and submit related issues on github I would gladly look into them.
