A friend of mine using Win98 wants to play X-Com Apocalypse, but lacks the mouse drivers necessary to play it in DOS mode... I'm posting this topic to find anything that'll work for his mouse so he can play.
If it's a USB version, you're most likely SOL, unless they happen to have (a) a PS2 adapter or (b) a DOS USB mouse driver - there are some about, but the simple fact is that DOS doesn't natively support USB (See here for a quick resumé of details in this regard).
If it's the PS2 one, or they do have an adapter, a generic driver should work - try CTMouse or something. Or, as the article says, you might have some luck using onboard legacy support.
