Does anyone know what triggers the Fast Off APIC event on a i440fx? I can't find any information about it.
Does it trigger when the IO APIC sends an IRQ request to a CPU? Or when one of it's IR input lines change? Or just the upper non-ISA (IR16-23) lines (seeing as the low lines are already specified in another event)?
Or is it triggered when a CPU writes to the IO APIC registers?
