Hello all! I'm trying to get a Gotek Floppy Emulator to work on a Windows 95 PC and not having much luck.

I've installed the Gotek in place of the old floppy drive and inserted a FAT formatted 2GB flash drive. I then held both buttons while it powered on and let it do its thing. Couldn't access it. I then tried formatting the flash drive using Batch Manage Tool V1.40 and creating 100 virtual floppy disks on it. The computer couldn't pick that up.

I'm running out of ideas on how to get this to work and really struggling to find documentation on using a Gotek in a Windows 95 PC. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I used the software you can see in Phils video below to prepare the USB on a modern PC

Another bonus is it allows that PC to also access the "disks" without having to purchase a 2nd drive or custom firmware.

The link is Phil provides is dead but quick search for "Gotek 1.40i" gave me this

As I mentioned, I did try that, but it didn't work for me.

I've not heard of it been called the batch tool before? are you sure it's the same software?

I know the software is buggy in later versions of windows, Personally I use my XP rig so never had a problem with that side of things but here is a guide I found.

That page I linked above does have attentive programs I've never tried though

Also what size USB sticks are you trying? smaller would be better
