Hello there.
I have Thinkpad 370C laptop with Dock what has isa slot and stereo loudspeakers. (486dx4)
At the isa slot i put a yamaha sound card with x2gs wavetable, and connect speakers to yamaha soundtrack.
But the old dos games, what use pc speaker to music, has not sound.
Is any tsr, what catch the pc speaker signal, and convert it adlib, or soundblaster pro compatible sound?
Thank any helping thought.

Did you modify the autoexec.bat? How about setting the sound/music to SoundBlaster in the setup? You have to add this line at the top of autoexec.bat;

SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 H5 P330 T4

Games with Adlib, Soundblaster, General Midi sounds good.
But only games with pc speaker utilisation have no sound.
My laptop isn't had pcspeaker, so i need tsr utility, what convert pc speaker sound to adlib compatible or soundblaster compatible sound.
Reversed i know it exist (soundblaster to pc speaker)

Does this dock offer any connector or jumper for the PC speaker so you can connect to the sound card PC speaker input? And remember, these sound emulators don't work with every game.

I'm not aware of any TSR that can do this.

A few questions though because I'm curious. With the laptop undocked:

Does PC speaker usually work?
Do you get POST beeps?
Does it come through headphones?
Do you have it muted via any of the function keys, or in BIOS?
