If you disassemble a Korean karaoke machine in the 1990s,
You can Find the MIDI Wave Table sound boards of Dream, SC-55, and SC-88 according to the Karaoke Machine grade.
If you're Very lucky Guy, you might even find the perfect Roland SCC-1 card.

A few days ago I bought a Old karaoke machine for $20.

It's DREAM SAM9703.
I modded the cable and connected it to the als120 sound card.

Great find. I happen to own a DB50XG that used to live in a Korean karaoke machine. Came complete with nicotine smell and spilled drink residue 😁

I'm pretty sure the Karaoke machines got more boards than the actual market for MIDI ever did. That being said, someone could make a tidy pile of $$$$ if they came across enough machines to be mined for a pile of daughterboards.
