Dosbox 0.70 constantly crashes whenever I set "core=dynamic" in dosbox.conf, and it shows the following error message:

"Exit to error: Ran out of CacheBlocks"

I tried change cycles to different values (max, 5000, auto), but it doesn't solve the problem. Change the core setting into "auto" or "normal" makes dosbox more stable though.

I'm running Dosbox 0.70 in Ubuntu 7.04 on a Thinkpad T60 (Intel Core Duo T2500).

Any suggestions? 😁

Romance of Sanguo 4 (by Koei), and Sea 2 (by Koei). There was once that Dosbox crashed before I started to run any games. 🙁

Hm those Koei games shouldn't really need the dynamic core, so try
sticking with core=normal, cycles=max and try loadfix before starting
the game.

OK, I guess I'll just turn off dynamic while playing those games, although it would've been nice to have it turned on since it makes the game run faster.
Anyway, thanks for the help. 😀
