similar deal. With hot air you indeed, as you said, always, have to set a way higher temperature.

Please dont use that to do board repair, it doesnt have the power/capacity to do a proper job and wil ruin either your board or chips.
To do it properly use something like a Quick 861DW or Atten ST-862D station minimum. (Or any of the other brands like JBC, Hakko, etc.)
