Could be either. What have you done as far as troubleshooting?

I've installed the card, reinstalled the drivers, checked the volume settings, verified the card's IRQ / DMA settings.

I figured since the synthesized music was working, that those settings were all good.......not sure what to try next...

Post config.sys and autoexec.bat contents and pics of the card that are good enough to see how the jumpers are set.

OK...I will get that together.....gotta get everything unhooked!

I think, you leaved out the jumpers, because that happened to me at the beginning too.
