Hey, I was running a few viruses for dos in dosbox and I would like to know if there is any way that it could escape the mounted foulder to infect files outside the "Lab" 😵

it's unlikely. Safest thing though might be to work on diskimages.

Running DOS viruses under DOSBox? And I thought I was being eccentric for trying DOS based emulators...

Anyway, don't forget to add entries on the games list for those who are compatible.

well... the only way these could spread is if you run any of the exe files from the mount outside of Dosbox. I'm sure one could make a virus that can spread outside of Dosbox but that would be a new one and not an old one 😀
