Some time ago I bought a lot of 5 untested sound, graphics and other PC cards. One of them is a PCI Rendition Verite 2200 4MB card made by Kasan. Recently I have finally found time to test and repair it. I've noticed that two 100uF caps have leaked and one 22uF cap was missing completely, so I decided to replace all SMD electrolytic caps as they could leak in the future too. After desoldering old caps, cleaning the board and soldering new caps I've tested the card and it's working mostly fine (only problem that I've noticed is that there are slightly visible vertical, darker line spots when on Windows desktop in 640x480 resolution, in other resolutions they are not visible or barely visible, in 3D mode image looks ok - tested in Monster Truck Madness 2).
There is not a lot of material on the internet about this particular card, but looking at pictures of it here: http://www.yjfy.com/Museum/video/Blitz_2200.htm, I've spotted a possibly missing transistor on my card. It's the one to the left of main Rendition chip between two 22uF electrolytic caps. Can anyone who also have this card check/post pictures of it and read the markings on that transistor? Maybe it only has to be present in TV-Out variant of the board? I have a variant without the TV-Out connector.
Here are the pictures of my card before and after recap. I've marked place on the board with missing transistor.
