I have downloaded the Openglide_v007b4 file, unzipped it and copied Glide2x.dll and openglide.ini to my red baron 3d folder.

I have run RB, selected Glidemode and 1024X768 resolution.

When I go to fly now I get a black screen with a short bright line at the top of the screen. On pressing escape I get to a screen with the rought wire type detail of the plane but against a black background.

I am using an NVIDIA GeForce 3 card ...

any ideas what the problem may be?

"Detonators" is the nickname for the video driver for the NVidia video cards (starting with the early TNT cards...get it? TNT?)

yeah stupid of me er looking under my driver info it says

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\NVDISP.DRV
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\\NVMINI.VXD
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\vmm32.vxd(vdd.vxd)

File version 4.13.01.1241

Yeh, I think that means you have 12.41 which are pretty old. Go get the latest. 41.09 are working well for me.
