Hello. I recently purchased a TBS System FIJI sound card and encountered a problem playing midi files on this card. The wav card plays sounds in Windows, but midi sounds do not play. Is this a feature of the card or the drivers? Drivers were downloaded from this site.
Did you install correct drivers? (ie; do you have a revision F or not?)
The TB Fiji card has no MIDI synth, it is pretty much a Pinnacle without the synth. But it has a wavetable header.

But opl must be present to play music?
I don't mean wavetable music. I try to play midi file in mediaplayer.

Fiji doesn't have opl.
You can use a sw midi synth.

I've seen cards that only play midi music, but I've never seen cards that only play sound
SW synth like “Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth” from Windows 98.
TB’s “Multisound” product line has no FM synth.
Cards like Tropez or Malibu do.

Yes, Pinnacle has a Kurzweil wavetable MIDI synth but no FM synth like OPL3. Fiji is like Pinnacle but without the Kurzweil synth.
