Can someone please help me identify the exact model of this sound card ? Also if you had experience with it, any tips / suggestions?

the FCC ID I38-MMSD802 suggests its Aztech Sound Galaxy NX Pro ? is that correct?

also is this green wire made from factory or did the previous owner attempt to do something here?

the card came in a complete Pentium 100 setup I recently acquired which I will use for pure DOS gaming purposes only. I have few ESS cards with S2 dreamblaster and also AWE64 cards but might just keep this one in the system for something different.

Looks like it is what you think, the Aztech Sound Galaxy NX Pro; more pics here, looking very alike:

Can't say what the wire is for, maybe a repair of a broken trace, or a factory revision, I note the layout differs slightly around the area with the wire, compared to images on the site I linked.

I have seen factory fixes like that but I can't imagine this being done at scale.

yeah, very strange. I am yet to properly test the system and the card.
