I have had to format my C: so I did that. Though for some reason when I boot via CDROM it states Boot from CD-ROM : FAILURE INVALID SYSTEM DISC, though it is shown in startup as primary slave.
The CD is a know bootable cd as used recently.

If I try to boot via A to setup DOS, it hangs on Veryfying DMA DATA forever?

I have had no issues in the past just simply boot methd from cdrom, though do now.

I have booted up GParted via CDROM and that works fine.
In the worst case is there a 100% Image of Win98SE I can download and what program does one recomend to make it a bootable ISO.

Thanks

Only OEM Win98 images are bootable. You may use Google to find such an image, linking to such is against the rules here. I have one, it has worked in every system I tried it in excepting those with questionable CD/DVD optical drives. There is always the possibility that the burned disk isn't compatible with this particular drive which isn't that unusual.
