Good afternoon! ...but not for my old Compaq LTE 5280... 🙁

Today I tried to switch it on after some years in the basement, at first it started to boot correctly, I have on it both a Red Hat and Windows 98, I tried with Windows 98 and it started to load ...reached the login screen it hanged. Screen frozen, no response from the keyboard. I switched it off and on again and now it does not boot anymore... no POST, no BIOS, black screen and no backlight.

The power led lights up (actually, not always), many icons remains always lighted on the small liquid crystal display below the screen, but nothing on the screen.

Any suggestion or any guess on what it might have happened? I will open it as soon as I have some time (I already have a Toshiba T1600 under surgery...).
