Hello to everyone,
I have a strange problem.
Yesterday,I tried to install an ISA card to an old motherboard(QDI P6I440LX Legend VII https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/qdi-p6 … nd-vii-legenx-7 ).After getting the mobo out of the box,no post, no beep.I don't know what I done(I broke something or the card had a problem),but even if I swap the ram,the cpu, clear the bios, nothing changed.

*The cpu fans are spinning,so I don't think it's a PSU problem.

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks!

No cpu installed, with your fingers touch and check if anything is unbearable to touch as it is too hot.
Do you have a POST card?

Multimeter, check voltages on the MOSFETs.

Could be that the card was dead and killed stuff or one MOSFET died for no reason (it happens).

If you have a programmer try rewriting the bios, could be dead also.

Yes,I had installed a cpu(I got it out to take the photo).

No,nothing it's too hot,fortunately!
Unfortunately,I have not a post card.
How do I check the Mosfets?
Also,I have that programmer:Programmer K150
Is it compatible with my bios?
I am a beginner so,you now.

Only way to know is to try the programmer.
Peel off the sticker on the BIOS chip, read it, see if it is the supported list.
Save what's on it, then write the BIOS on the TRW site and see if it revives your motherboard.

To cjeck the mosfets use a multimeter, read the Voltages and take note of what you have without a cpu and with a cpu installed.

We all started as beginners, nothing wrong about it.

I am sorry for the delay.I ve checked the mosfets and I think are Ok.The bios may be corrupted.

*edit
I bought a programmer.I reprogrammed the bios but nothing changed.
Any advice?
