So my carmageddon 1 works fine with glidos, but there is no music.. anyone have an idea how to get the music ?

Carmageddon 1 is a DOS game. Are you using Windows XP? You need VDMSound to run DOS games (with sound) on WinXP.
Otherwise, you can use DOSBox, however, I've never tried DOSBox with a GLide wrapper before, so I'm not knowledgeable in this matter.

Yes i have xp and have VDMSound too, still cant hear any music and havent tried Dosbox glide wrapper.
Is the music in the form of redbook audio? Then you might need SAPUCDEX.
Yes Redbook emulation is on and have Sapucdex.exe with .dll in both directories, in the game directory and glidos but still it cant bring the music even with Carm cd in drive. I have no idea how to get music on.
Just a wild guess; maybe you need to connect your CD drive to your soundcard with an analog audio cable.
