So, as my title says, I need a video card for Shuttle X PC Pentium 4 and 2 GB ram.

Limitations:
-Single Slot
-200 Watt PSU
-Best Bang for Buck
-Windows 2000/XP compatible
-AGP slot

I am looking for recommendations as there are a lot of options, but I am not sure what I should be looking at for my requirements.

Radeon 9600/GeForce 6200.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.

That one has an onboard Intel video card, the one add-on slot is pretty slow PCI/33 Mhz I think. (I have a couple of those machines, no frills).

It has an AGP slot.

Hmm...I guess the XPC family has several members then.
Mine are XPC SB52G2 (and they have 2x PCI, not just one as I remembered)

I put together a pc using a shuttle xpc ss51g barebones system, I think it was when they finally got an AGP slot, so could be the same.
Anyway, it was a P4 and I paired it with the then new 9700 Pro, it kicked so much a55.

Gigabyte GV-R105256DP2-RH
https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-R105256DP2-RH

There are two types of X1050. One has the RV370 GPU which makes it a Radeon 9550 rebrand and usually has 64bit memory while the GV-R105256DP2-RH has the full RV410 GPU with 128bit memory which makes it a Radeon X700 rebrand. It's usually very underappreciated for having the lowest of the low-end model number. It has decent performance for a Pentium 4.
