I'm trying to use discworld one on windows XP but there is no sound if i open the drivers file then clickon sound Miles Design Audio Interface Libary Version 3.02 of 18-Jan-95 opens, i don't know how to use this and really really want to start play this game. Please can someone help with jargon free replies. Please please help me!

You won't probably get any sound from an ms-dos game using a modern soundcard. Your best bet is to use DOSBox, that is an ms-dos emulator oriented towards gaming. You should take a look at DOSBox guides section on this forum.

If you really want to run in under XP, you could try to run it with VDMSound.

I had the same problem with Discworld sound.

I used the XP fix that can be found many places including the home of the underdogs and I used VDMSound.

It works fine now.
