I'm trying to run GTR Legends on my computer and I absolutely enjoy both games. It says the recommended specs 2.0 Ghz but my computer is 2.66 Ghz. If I run it with the lowest graphics it runs at a good speed but if I turn up the graphics settings It runs slow but still playable. What could possiably be the problem. I have the same problem with GTR 2 and I have to run it with low graphics settings to get the right speed but that game says the reccomended specs are 3 Ghz and I am not going to try and run it with the highest graphics settings cause I know if I can't play GTR legends at normal speed with high graphics settings then certainly GTR 2 won't work at normal speed with high graphics settings. The graphics card is an Intel 82845.

GTR 2 is slightly slow with low and GTR legends is perfect with low. What does the Intel 82845 graphics card have to do with anything anyways

It also says:
"3D Accelerator DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics card with 256 MB memory"

which i doubt you have

the card doesnt even do hardware T&L im supprised ant dx9 game runs at all

from intel's web site
"Compatible with DirectX* 9.0, 8.x, and 7.x
Not all of the new features of DirectX 9.0 are supported"

if your not on a laptop i would upgrade even the cheapest dx9 card would wipe the floor with your igp
If you dont have a laptop im guessing your on agp
if so albatron do a 8800gt in pci you'd be looking at a 20x speed increase at least

Minimum requirement for both is direct x 8.1. Recommended is 9.0c. 256 is recommended but not required so it should be running nicely.

oops minimum is DirectX 8.1 compatible graphics card with 64 MB memory

although you have a strange opinion on the term "nicely" 😉

Do yourself a favor and buy any video card you'll find
even a geforcemx 2 is better than what you have right now...
