You got ripped on that computer, it has a fancy case but missing critical components like a motherboard and memory. 🤣
Very nice.

Is it going to be a museum piece then?

This one will be for display mainly, so yes. The second V6K will be here tomrorow and that will be my "play card". It's only seven screws to take it out, but its nice and safe, and is now sitting out to be appricated. 😀

You know i never thought of any of my old hardware like that. Sure it's fascinating. But I've always considered my interest in it to be a bit... well, weird.
rottentreats: you could always help ASSEMbler with showing photos of your prototype cards when it comes 3DFX. Cause I think he would love the help. And yes I am using his nickname, cause no matter if people knows his real name, then I am all for privacy first.
The V6K arrived today from Edmund's eBay auction. ;D ;D ;D
First thing I did was stick it in my V6K rig and fire it up... half a decade later and SHE'S ALIVE!!! Tested and stable at 2x/4x/8x AA levels. [still looping UT99 intro @ 4x AA going on for about 30 minutes]
Edmund also provided a support bracket/handle that has been with the card nearly it's entire life. That teamed up with a slot bracket from a V5 5500 AGP, this thing is now ready to be enjoyed even more. 😀
