Hi to all who understand and how to do Extreme Assault

I do know how to Install Extreme Assault using DOSBox v0.72 and I also Install DOSBox to Extreme\DOSBox and in the DOSBox I type
mount l l:\ -t cdrom
mount g g:\games\flying\extrem~1
G:
XA_3DFX

it say "Fatal error unable to load DLL"

I did Unpack dgVoodoo v1.50 Beta2 to Extreme\

and it still say "Fatal error unable to load DLL"

so I having problem understanding how to run Glide using DOSBox

Please Help

a) Alt + Enter do not work for Extreme Assault

b) If I go to dosbox.conf and edit fullscreen=false to fullscreen=true I load DOSBox as

first DOSBox go to Fullscreen but went it starting to load Exterme Assault it go back to

Default size the same size in fullscreen=false also No Mouse movement it show cursor but no

mouse movement

c) If I go to dosbox.conf and edit fullscreen=true to fullscreen=false there is mouse

movement

Its been a while, but I seem to recall getting Tomb Raider to run fullscreen by changing
InitFullScreen=0
to
InitFullScreen=1
in the openglide.ini file.

When I try using glide version of EA, after launch I've got a 3dFX logo, and after this - black screen with music. when I press ESC - game starts, and everything works. But I can't see starting and options screens...

Edit: Whoops, sorry, I didn't see that this thread was old and in the OpenGlide section. 🙁

Hello,

Whenever I start XA3DFX.exe or 3dFX.bat, I get the typical DOSBox loading screen, then the screen freezes on that, and sound continues, but nothing else happens. I can get out of this problem by Alt-Tabbing, Task Managar, or Clicking X if I am using a Window (I have tried it both fullscreen and windowed.)

I am using Daum's Glide-supporting .72 version, and I have copied its Glidex2.ovl into /Extreme, overwriting the original.

I have also installed Zeckensack's Glide Wrapper on my PC.

I am using Windows XP 32 bit.

What's going wrong here please? Thank you!

You should never start dos games with directory\executable, you always need to switch to dos game directory before starting it. You should also delete all glide2x.ovl files present in the game directory that are not dosbox version.
