Instead of this:

1C:\DOCUMENTS\ASMDEV> 

But now you can have long file names working on Windows 3.11 🙄 you just need to download one program, and all your problems will be solved.

Requirements
Now we need to download the file ifa400.exe, called Long File Names for Windows 3.1x Programs.

Installation
Copy the file ifa400.exe to where you want(on this tutorial I will put it on C:/), then you need to open the Windows 3.11 File Manager and double-click on the executable:

Just do as every good Windows setup(Next, Next..., Finish 😉 ):
