I had a demo of Z.A.R. on some Encyclopedia of Games CD. I've yet to see a full version anywhere. Has anyone come across this game?

Do you really think I haven't tried that?
1st link - abandonia forum.
2nd link - is now this topic.
3rd link - possible words from the ZAR abbreviation
Everything else from there on appears to deal with just the demo.

It came out... in Russia. With that in mind for finding a legit copy outside of there... GOOD FREAKING LUCK

Then you're getting different results than I am. Given this, could you please share your findings?

Z.A.R. is a real unique game and one of the reasons i have a retro pc.
it has a great voxel engine that is capable of using MMX instructions to enhance image quality (extreme assault comes to mind).
it was very popular in russia and a mission pack was also released at its time.
but getting an original copy is nearly impossible today...
