Please, help me with advise.
In what way shoud I install VDM IO hooks in VDD on 0x388,0x389 port
to override WindowsXP native Adlib "emulator"?
If I use VDDInstallIOHook in VDD entry point (VDD registered in
HKLM/*/VirtualDeviceDrivers/VDM), I can intercept only unused ports
(0x500,0x501 for example)
But I want log io activity of my old DOS Adlib player so hooks on 0x388 and 0x389 are desired.
I know that there is some way to do it, as VDMSound and SoundFX works just fine.

P.S. Sorry for my partially offtopic post, but I have no idea where else can I get an answer to my question.

Well, it's not bad idea, but VDMSound is a large application,
so examining it's sources takes me some evenings to find a solution.
And I'm not sure my understanding of the trouble will be right.

But where is the latest source kept these days? The Sourceforge CVS listing looks a tad dated?
