Thanks! I had a vintage tube monitor, but it was bulky, heavy, slightly smaller than the Mag LCD, and so I left it in my dad's attic for now. He'll probably yell at me to come pick it up one day when he goes upstairs hehehe

The current setup of my P3 rig nicknamed Xan

P1070734.jpg

In case anyone is wondering that is a full boxed copy of IBM DOS 5 and in perfect condition (ok the box is a bit dented) even the 3.5" floppys are still in the original plastic

Also i wonder if anyone can guess from what game my background is from (it's concept art BTW)

wow very nice, memsys! I love the genuine model M and the case looks rather period as well! I wouldnt be able to stand those speakers or that ballmouse, though. I personally have an old 15 inch LCD that is the same disgusting-silver as that for my vintage systems. They definitely look the part much more than the new black ones or wide-black ones do.

Thank you
As you can see i obviously do not have the space for a CRT and i managed to get this screen NIB for cheap it's a hp1740 btw .
The mouse will be replaced at some point , probably by a nice Logitech optical one . As for the speakers i did not feel like spending a lot of money on them and these were the cheapest ones with good sound quality .
I absolutely LOVE my model M (i've been raised on rubber domes) sadly it has issues with the LED's the numlock LED won't light up and the caps and scroll lock LED's only very little .
although i have to say that i prefer the US layout over the now disused Dutch layout that my M uses

Here's where I spend most of my free time. 😀
My retro rigs on the left and a E1260 at 3.2 w/GTX 260 on right.
I tried a Asus 22" LCD a couple years ago but gave to kids and went back to CRT.
I made the desk, shelves and wall art. 😁

Hey, Optima!!

One of my Dad's earlier PCs was an Optima 386. I was a bit young to know much about specs at the time, but I do know that we had the same mid-tower case from that thing for years and years, well into Pentium days.

Rock solid is an understatement, haha, so much steel in em!

Yep exactly the same design case from the looks of it except mine says Paragon Systems on the front instead of Optima and has RESET text instead of icons. My case is probably a little bit battered to maybe and has an ATX PSU instead of the original AT one
