3DFX Voodoo 2 sli issue.

I finally have the voodoo 2 12mb cards and sli cable to use them, but nomader what i do, i can't get them to work. They show up in device manager fine, but if i try to open dxdiag, system crash. if i open any 3D test stuff like DAWNING system crash. These programs did work with my rage 128 furry. but with the voodoo's installed, nothing works.

Spec: PIII 800mhz, rage 128furry(or rage IIC), 2 Diamond voodoo 2 12mb cards with sli cable. SB16 and a lan card. 640mb's of ram. and windows 98se

even when i open the control pannel for the voodoo the system crashes

Try to do a fresh reinstall of the drivers, as well as trying the cards on different PCI slots, if available.

is 2 vga link cables required? or can they run with one?

Just one, from the 2D card to the input of the top Voodoo2 (although I've heard you can have it going to either Voodoo2).

PCs, Macs, old and new... too much stuff.

No that the Buttom for 2D input on the Voodoo 2 CapnCrunch53 top one gose to your Monitor
