Hey,

So i'm having issues playing the DOS version of spycraft.

I load up dosbox, type in imgmount w D:\classicgames\spycraft\spycraft_1.iso -t iso

And it shows that it was mounted. I then go to my game directory, which is d:\classicgames\spycraft

Then i type in "spydos" and it starts to load and then gives me an error message about loading disc1

I took a screenshot of the issue.

Any ideas?

thanks.

Begin fresh and follow the 60 seconds guide. Also read in the readme how to imgmount several images to the same drive letter and switch via ctrl-f4.

and perhaps mount the drives sequentially - so just C: (hdd) and D: (cd), not C, D, W, X, Y, Z.

Thanks for your help!

I reinstalled everything and set up the .iso files all on one drive. It works perfectly now. 😀

It depends on the game if it supports multiple CD-DROM drives. Later DOS games like Gabriel Knight 2 does,
but that's not the case for usual. There is also a DOSBox limitation, which says,
multiple CD-ROM drives have to be mounted sequentially (D:, E: F:, for example, not D: and F: w/o E: ) .
