I forgot about those compilations that are coming out. My guess is that they either wrote Windows-based interpreters for the old games, or bundled some freeware interpreters and/or emulators. There's no way Vivendi would publish DOS games without providing a way to run them in Windows without hassle.

Good catch. It isn't. As I mentioned above it runs it DosBox 0.58 which doesn't support protected mode. I'll edit the page later if no one else does.
I had the same problem, but typing "loadfix -f" into the DosBox (I use DosBox 0.74) solved it.
