Yes, it really happened! Right, now this just about blew me away: Anyone heard of Desqview and Desqview/X? Meet X-Windows for DOS. There's similar programs out there, but were they made by Quarterdeck? 😀

Nifty, but will it run in NTVDM? This really isn't really X-Windows, though, since it doesn't work with Windows 4 (aka Win95/98/ME).

oh well, I've got my 486/66DX2 with a REAL copy of Windows 3.11, so I'm good to go without this, I guess. 😉

Well, with Desqview/X installed, you'd be able to run Windows 3.11 in a window. 😀

No, I meant on your 486. You could run Windows in a window, within Desqview/X, which runs on top of DOS. Although the question begs, "why would you want to?" 😀

Yeah... that confuses me. What the hell? If you have Win3.11, why not just RUN it?
