When answering another thread, I discovered that typing "echo off" on the DOSbox commandprompt makes the prompt itself disappear. I'm pretty sure that's not original DOS behaviour. So is this intentional, or some by-effect?

did you actually bother to try it in dos before posting?

Well, since the only DOS version I have at hand is a Windows command-prompt, I must admit I haven't on DOS 6.22 or below. If the disappearing of the prompt is actual original DOS behaviour, I stand corrected, and appologize for making this post (not to mention that I really have to dust off my memory 😀).
