I'm getting a funky little crash...I managed to capture a screenshot of the god damned console window before it disappears (faster than I could read the error).

It reads as follows:

CONFIG:Loading settings from config file dosbox.conf
Fatal Signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)

I don't have too much time at the moment to mess around - I have a pretty crappy system setup right now (onboard AC'97 audio crap etc). 0.60 asks me to disable direct sound before I use it (which I haven't as I haven't been using DosBox lately) --- maybe 0.61 doesn't handle the error so gracefully and that's causing the crash.

Just thought I'd start this thread in case others are having the same issue. If any detail is needed just reply here or send an e-mail.

those errors are related to videodrivers with louse opengl support.

Try to get hold of an older version of sdl.dll at http://www.libsdl.org , 1.2.5 worked for me.
