I was browsing Maxim Stepin's website for some information about his superb hq3x filter routine (recently implemented in ZSNES and ScummVM), when I discovered an incredible texture filtering routine he's been working on lately. I'm not sure if OpenGlide can support it, but the potential is so tremendous that it would be a shame to not have a look at it:
The demo is impressive and the Smart Texture Filtering doesn't hit the framerate that much on my P3 667 MHz.
