Hi, I have an P4 2.4GHz with 512 Ram, Geforce 4 MX AGP8x, Windows 2000 and a C-MEDIA On-Board sound card, and X-COM 1 & 2 CD version(not Collectors edition). But I can't run the game and sound smoothly. Can anyone help me? 😕

The best config was 19000 Cycles with Dinamic core, Sound 48KHz with 4096 Block Size.

Please help me, it's the best game ever but unplayable on a machine with more than 1GHz 😢

You try it with the core set to normal? And I think your cycle is too high.

I'm on a 2.1 gig machine, core is normal and cycle set to 4000 and it runs smoothly.
