I was at church today and in the corner near the sound system I spotted this old beige computer. I asked if I could look at it and if they were going to use it. They said they did not know what to do with it, and I could look. Well, I walked out the door with a nice AMD athlon XP 2000+ machine. It had windows xp on the 40 gb HDD and I added a stick of DDR and it runs great. Really clean system. Some of the stickers on it indicate the processor i mentioned, and "Micro Pro" as well as "Graphics by ATI rage 128". Which it does not have that, it uses integrated Nvidia graphics. I attached some pictures I took and this time I rotated them afterwards and they're not that bad.

Main: AMD FX 6300 six core 3.5ghz (OC 4ghz)
16gb DDR3, Nvidia Geforce GT740 4gb Gfx card, running Win7 Ultimate x64
Linux: AMD Athlon 64 4000+, 1.5GB DDR, Nvidia Quadro FX1700 running Debian Jessie 8.4.0

Nice rig! Lots of room for upgrades... would be quite a screamer with an Athlon XP 3200+ and Radeon 9800 Pro.

🤣 the choice of vintage case. Without those labels it would easily identify as a SS7/Slot1 system on first sight. Even the Rage128 sticker is an anachronism
