Xbox360 hat and right thumbstick do not work?

The game “Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion”, DosBox 0.74.
Windows 7, Xbox 360 wired controller.

Problem 1. Ctrl+F1, click ↑ virtual button, click “Add”, press hat up, it shows that Xbox 360 hat up is mapped to keyboard ↑.
“Save”, “Exit”, axes 0 to 3 and all buttons work, hat doesn’t.

Problem 2. Ctrl+F1, click ↑ virtual button, click “Add”, move right thumbstick to the left or to the right. Nothing happens.

I recently replaced my XBox 360 controller with something else, but if I remember correctly, you have to set joysticktype to fcs in the DOSBox config file.

Why so, developers? DosBox seems to confuse real and emulated joystick…
