So would one of those guys be enough to cool a voodoo 3 ? mine don't get so hot as a fx5500 in a short period, but it gets hot if it's working in 1 - 3 hours

My Voodoo 3000 AGP only has the metal heatsink, no active cooler, no problems for almost 15 years now. 😀

Same here. Only the heatsink should be attached. No fan required.
If it really concerns you, then you could mount a fan somewhere close to the graphics card and just let it blow air over the heatsink.
Phils computerlab has a video about this on YouTube.
Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.
Those cakes make you sick....

I used to mount those tiny chipset fans on V3s every chance that I got and it works well. The blower fan will work but not to my taste and others might agree especially if you need that slot next to the card for something more useful. Mounting a fan at the rear of the card is a easy fix while maintaining the use of the slot, a blow over setup that is common to V2 SLI builds with a common 80mm fan.
