I recently purchased what was advertised as a Geforce2 Ultra, and what I received turned out to be what 98SE recognizes as a Quadro2 Pro.
I've done some poking around Vogons for information on this card, and I thought I would create a thread on it for some definitive info from other owners.
Based on the specs from Nvidia's website, it seems as though the Quadro 2 Pro is ALMOST the same as a Geforce 2 Ultra. One difference is the bandwidth (7.36 GB/s for GF2 Ultra vs 6.4GB/s for Quadro2). Also, the Quadro2 has a 256-bit core vs. the 128-bit core of the GF2 Ultra.
Apparently, the Quadro2's DVI port is not available on the GF2 Ultra?
The card is very fast: 52.4 FPS on Unreal Gold at 1600x1200 with a Tualeron 1300 (almost exactly the same speed as a V5 5500 using Glide at the same resolution).
Are there any other issues or missing features with the Quadro2 Pro that would make it an inferior gaming card to the GF2 Ultra?
