just started using this tool to play some of my old serria games like leisure suit larry and police questi have them all burned to cd rom and they play only problem i have is i cant get them to save. can any one help me?
well if you run them from cdrom you can not save as a cdrom is read-only.

i know that but i cant even save the games to floppy...am i gonna be stuck playing them through? oh what a chore that will be!!!! 🤣
I have a similar problem with Day Of The Tentacle. The game runs from CD (no install), but automatically creates c:\dott.cd which stores the ini file for sound configuration. The savegames are supposed to go to this same directory, but the game will not save (disk full? error message).

ah located the error. (for dott that is)

Game checks if the current drive is removable or not.
We only implemented remote. But those gave the same results actually.

yup am getting the disk full error ... i have noticed if i play the games from floppy i can save over an old game but not create a new save game

Since Qbix fixed this problem for dott I suggest you compile (or wait for some release) the cvs version and see if it fixed your game as well.
