I am trying to run some old application software on an win xp machine, dell pentium 4. It keeps saying the math coprocessor is missing. Any ideas why?

I have another math coprocessor problem - I think. I am successfully running a grand old DOS database application - Open Access (nothing to do with M$) - within Dosbox on a Mac. I use Radnor to start the program. Everything looked great until I noticed that mathematical calculations were coming out wrong 🙁
I started Open Access built-in calculator to check its accuracy. Things then got really strange. When I press a numeric key the number appears but with 0.5 added to it. In other words if I press 1 I get 1.5 !
I realise that Dosbox was never intended for such complex applications but I guess there is a chance that it is calcuilating games parameters incorrectly as well.
Otherwise a great product.

I am using Radnor v1.o which has Dosbox 0.61 . I do not yet know how to update to Dosbox 0.63. I have been searching for instructions without success.
Thanks for the quick response
Mike

well you could try downloading dosbox0.63 for the mac from
www.holgwegner.com

(radnor uses that site as well)

and then start dosbox manually and see if it's better

We happened to have fix some coprocessor bugs in both 0.62 and 0.63
